Won't these be darling for Valentine's Day treats? These triangle boxes are so simple to make, and you can get three boxes out of one sheet of 12''x12'' paper or 2 boxes out of a sheet of 8 1/2''x11''. The banner piece on the box was cut from the petal cone die. The Happy Easter greeting is from the Easter Blossom stamp set. I stamped it using Pear Pizzazz ink. Here is the how to video for this box. I made it using the Petal Cone die from the Occasions Mini. My friend Sam, received a box like this a leadership from Heather Summers, and when I saw it I knew that was going to be my first project using the Petal Cone die. I used Crumb Cake card stock for the box and Very Vanilla for the tag. For the tag I stamped thank so much in Baja Breeze ink. The dotted tag outline was stamped in Early Espresso. Isn't he cute! The box shown is made using a 12x12 sheet of card stock (I have also created smaller Frankenstein boxes using the Fancy Favor Die)scored at 4'' and 8'' on each side and the shaped into a box. Then I used various sized circle punches to make his eyes. Next I added a button for his nose, and I used a marker to draw his smile. I made his hair using a strip of basic black card stock and randomly punching with the star punch. Then I sprayed Silver Smooch Spritz to add a little glitter to his hair.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"><em>Supplies: All Stampin' Up!, Circle Punches, Large Star Punch, Certainly Celery card stock, Basic Black card stock, Whisper White card stock, Certainly Celery button, Silver Smooch Spritz, Basic Black journaler, and Sticky Strip</em></span></div>Darahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05232622408798144484noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783338063412002629.post-8826161595904631792010-08-30T10:00:00.001-05:002010-08-30T10:00:02.243-05:00Birthday Bliss<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGGEvD7WuQB_4JySaHZrqSYxBf7x7JZrsKhQT5gp_k0XWU2K_is7oO-CE4OHUkFE8QxGK6m9sWfXeYZoyeiXIECZHCLkTUKuv4uh1pe3_iYOive723zKFOc3x5rB8UTG0adBKjZmTd3F8/s1600/birthday+bliss.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5510268402774107250" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGGEvD7WuQB_4JySaHZrqSYxBf7x7JZrsKhQT5gp_k0XWU2K_is7oO-CE4OHUkFE8QxGK6m9sWfXeYZoyeiXIECZHCLkTUKuv4uh1pe3_iYOive723zKFOc3x5rB8UTG0adBKjZmTd3F8/s400/birthday+bliss.jpg" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">I made this card using Birthday Bliss (catalog) and Sweet Scoops (summer mini). It is GORGEOUS! This picture just doesn't do it justice. I CASE'd it from </span><a href="http://www.addalittledazzle.com/my_weblog/2010/07/christ-is-born-and-ronald-mcdonald-house.html"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">here</span></a><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">. I bought a roll of thin aluminum metal at a local craft store, and I cut a piece measuring 4'' x 5 1/4''. Then I placed it inside the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder and ran it through the Big Shot. Next I layered it onto my card base, stamped and embossed Christ is Born, and layer it onto the card. Finally I finished it by adding satin ribbon to the card.</span><br /></div><p><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"><strong><em>Supplies:</em></strong></span><br /></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"><em>Christ is Born stamp set- Wood only #111612</em></span></li><li><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"><em>Whisper White card stock- #100730</em></span></li><li><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"><em>Real Red card stock- #102482</em></span></li><li><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"><em>Versamark ink- #102283</em></span></li><li><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"><em>Embossing Buddy- #103083</em></span></li><li><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"><em>Silver Embossing Powder- #109131</em></span></li><li><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"><em>Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder- #116824</em></span></li><li><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"><em>Real Red Satin Ribbon- #117286</em></span></li><li><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"><em>Aluminum Metal Sheets (local craft store)</em></span></li></ul><p><em><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"></span></em></p>Darahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05232622408798144484noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4783338063412002629.post-62599450980649368382010-04-04T15:54:00.003-05:002010-04-04T15:57:27.538-05:00Digital Card<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3MRylwksGIzjLJArmnxoA0xlWAGnVST7dDgKbnPKPMt4dVCTzqGgnJonklK0ezRPVwgV0XTbZdOG1VNF57Ezeg8IbmQ3juaO11oLLHuOmtRJcAKKCDBzAsqRdQL7qCtgpIGso2yeYALU/s1600/project12-001.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 309px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456389220786779058" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3MRylwksGIzjLJArmnxoA0xlWAGnVST7dDgKbnPKPMt4dVCTzqGgnJonklK0ezRPVwgV0XTbZdOG1VNF57Ezeg8IbmQ3juaO11oLLHuOmtRJcAKKCDBzAsqRdQL7qCtgpIGso2yeYALU/s400/project12-001.jpg" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">It has been a very long time since my last post.
